Gwendoline Christie is in New York for the premiere of the fourth season of Game of Thrones. She was joined by designer Giles Deacon. Gwendoline wore brown glasses while Giles Deacon wore prescription glasses. The pair looked effortlessly stylish as they walked arm-in-arm around the city. Gwendoline Christie’s cat eye glasses also added an extra layer of sophistication and style to her look. The aviator glasses complemented her rolled up jeans and black polo-neck. She also wore purple socks and carried a pink and orange zebra handbag. Giles wore white trousers with a smart black overcoat. Christie showed off her quirky sense of style in a blue Crombie coat from Richard Nicoll’s AW14 collection.
The designer is said to have started dating his girlfriend after meeting on New Year’s Eve in 2012. Following this they went out on a number of dates. Gwendoline worked as a professional gymnast and artist’s model. She shot to fame in the role on Brianne of Tarth in HBO’s Game of Thrones. She has said in an interview that her character will be faced with great hardship in the forthcoming season. The series is based on the George R.R. Martin book series A Song of Ice and Fire. Show-runner David Benioff said that the fourth season promises ‘more action’.
