Miley Cyrus recently performed an extremely energetic Christmas routine. It was rather raunchy and risqué as she was dressed in a Santa costume and bow tie and performed a very energetic routine at Power 96.1’s Jingle Ball at Philips Arena on Wednesday in Atlanta.
She wore a large fur coat for the concert in keeping with the theme of winter and Christmas. She performed a rather risqué dance with a man dressed as a sort of Father Christmas figure, but very different from the rotund Father Christmas figure that we are used to seeing. In a gesture that seemed defiant of certain norms, he seemed to be clutching a bottle of alcohol in a brown bag.

The Miley Cyrus performance was in keeping with her recent work which has been quite outrageous and borderline as far as propriety is concerned, particularly keeping in mind her young age. Her reckless clothing and provocative style of dancing sent a message of modernity, youth and liberality. Her backup dancers were also attractive, wearing antlers and Santa costumes. She later posted pictures with them backstage. The performance lent a new dimension to Christmas celebrations.
